Your account and the full bench
The calculator, the unit conversions, and the guided steps for Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, and Statistics are free. They need no account and no network, and they stay free.
The full bench is the other courses, Geometry, Precalculus, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Finance, and Project Management, plus Proctor Mode. On this hosted copy the full bench opens with an owner account. Sign in is a link sent to your email. There is no password to make or to lose.

Proctor Mode for teachers
Proctor Mode is free for teachers. A teacher runs a session during a class test. Students join with a short code.
While a session runs the app watches its own page. When a student leaves the app page the app writes down the time. The teacher sees each leave and each return on a live roster.
This mode reports. It does not hold a phone in this app. It cannot stop a student from switching apps or picking up a second phone. It is a classroom tool for a teacher to judge. It is not an approval from any testing body.
Proctor Mode sits in the full bench on this hosted copy. Sign in with an account that owns the bench to open it. On the live service Proctor Mode is free for teachers, and a teacher account opens it in full.

Join a session
This session is proctored. Your teacher can see when this app page is open and when it is not. Each leave and each return is recorded with a time and shown to your teacher. Your teacher also sees if this page stops reporting. Stay in the app until your teacher ends the session.
Keep this app open. Your teacher ends the session when the test is over.
How far this build reaches. Served from the Calc Steps relay, teacher and student views connect across phones on the same network. Opened as plain files, views connect in tabs or windows of one browser on one device. Either way the watching works the same and the reach is stated here, on this card.

Use + and - and * and / for basic math. Use ^ for powers. Use parentheses to group parts.
Use sin and cos and tan for trig. Use ln for natural log. Use log for base ten log. Use sqrt for square root.
Use ! after a number for factorial. Use pi and e for the well known constants.
Multiplication can be left out in places like 2pi or 3(4 + 1).

Your data, in plain words
This page states exactly what an owner account holds. If a thing is not listed here, the account does not hold it.
What the account holds
- Your email address. It is the name of the account and the address the sign in links go to.
- What you bought. The levels on the account, where the grant came from, and the date it landed. This preview sells nothing, so in the preview this line holds test grants only.
- Your device sessions. For each signed in device, a coarse label such as Chrome on Android, the day it first signed in, and the last day it was seen. The label is read from the browser's own general description of itself. There is no device number and no fingerprint.
- Your sign in links, as fingerprints only. The server keeps a scrambled mark of each link so a link can be honored once and then never again. The live link itself is kept only in the preview inbox of this preview, only until it is used or runs out.
What the account never holds
- No password. There is none to hold. Sign in runs on single use email links.
- No name. The account never asks for one.
- No schoolwork. The problems you type and the answers you get stay on your device. The account service never sees them.
- No payment card numbers. This preview takes no payment at all.
- No student data. Proctor Mode sessions are a separate tool with their own record, described on the Proctor Mode card. An owner account holds none of it.
How long it is held
A sign in link lives for fifteen minutes. A device session lives for up to thirty days, or until you sign out. An account record lives until you delete the account.
Deleting your account
The Delete my account button sits in the account card on this page, once you are signed in. Deleting ends the whole record at once. The email, the purchase line, and every device session are gone, and nothing is kept back to restore them. If the account owned the full bench, that access ends with the record. A later purchase would start a fresh account.
The free bench holds nothing at all. It asks for no email, makes no account, and keeps no record of your work.
